Something not working?
Most of what people write in about is one of the answers below. If none of them fits, email support@getmozzi.com and describe what you expected to happen and what happened instead — that is usually enough to solve it in one reply.
I get the notification but I do not hear the adhan
Check the ring/silent switch on the side of your phone. iOS silences notification sounds when that switch is set to silent, and no app can override it. If you are on iOS 26, turn on Prayer alarms in Settings — alarms are allowed to sound through Silent mode and Focus, which notifications are not.
The adhan stops before it finishes
Apple limits notification sounds to 30 seconds, so the notification plays the opening of the adhan rather than the whole call. This is a platform rule, not a setting. Prayer alarms on iOS 26 are not bound by it.
My prayer times look wrong by a few minutes
Different authorities use different sun angles, and a few minutes of difference between methods is normal rather than an error. Open Settings, then Calculation method, and choose the one your local mosque follows. If Asr specifically looks off, change the madhab setting — the Hanafi calculation puts Asr noticeably later.
The qibla arrow will not settle
The compass uses your phone’s magnetometer, which metal, magnets and some cases interfere with. Move away from anything metal and wave the phone in a figure eight. If the reading is unreliable the app tells you so rather than pointing confidently in the wrong direction.
The widget is empty
The widget reads a schedule the app publishes, so open the app once after installing and it will fill in. If it still looks empty, remove the widget and add it again.
I paid, and the app still asks me to subscribe
Tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so make sure the device is signed in to the same one you bought with.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel from there. If you cancel before a free trial ends, you are not charged.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. We are not able to issue refunds ourselves, since we never receive the payment directly.
Is the halal scanner authoritative?
No, and it does not claim to be. It checks an ingredient list for commonly flagged items and tells you plainly when it has no data. It is not a halal certification — always verify with the manufacturer or a certification body for anything that matters to you.
Will you delete my data?
There is nothing to delete. Mozzi has no account and no server; everything it stores is on your device. Deleting the app removes all of it.
